Amusement for kids and information that benefits the whole family will be offered at the 16th annual Family Fun Day and Resource Fair on Saturday, May 29.
The event’s mission is to enhance and promote public awareness of the resources, hospitality and community partnerships within Northwest Pasadena.
“We want to be sure residents know that places like La Pintoresca park and library are safe, inviting places where families can engage in enriching activities at little or no cost,” said Efrain Montes, parks specialist.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at La Pintoresca Park, 45 E. Washington Blvd, children can enjoy a skate park competition, spot and shot basketball competition, arts and crafts, water spray park, moon bounce, live entertainment and disc jockey, free hot dogs, door prizes and more.
Families can learn about neighborhood association services, the public library, human services, recreational offerings and partnerships within Northwest Pasadena.
Among the sponsors are city of Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department, Pasadena Public Library, Monk’s Hill Neighborhood Association, Neighborhood Connections and Armory Center for the Arts.
