Slack Key Guitarist Jim “Kemo” West will perform Hawaiian music on Tuesday, September 15 at 4 p.m. at Hastings Branch Library, 3325 East Orange Grove Blvd.  One of the world’s top “slack key” guitarists and a recent winner of the Hawaii Music Awards, West brings his own unique musical perspective to this great acoustic guitar tradition.

This concert is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the Recording Industries’ Music Performance Fund through the assistance of the Professional Musicians Union Local 47.
