The Arroyo Seco is rich with trail opportunities for equestrians. Equestrians are welcome on most Arroyo Seco trails, although not recommended on the paved Rose Bowl Loop. South of the Colorado Street Bridge, the trails on the east side of the channel are more accessible for equestrians. Equestrians can most easily access Arroyo Seco trails from the south entrance adjacent to San Pasqual Stables or in Hahamongna Watershed Park to the north. Hitching posts and water troughs are located in Hahamongna Watershed Park and behind the Brookside Clubhouse in the Central Arroyo.
Trails in the Arroyo Seco are open during park hours daily from sunrise to sunset.

Equestrian staging facilities are located in Hahamongna Watershed Park. The main entrance to Hahamongna Watershed Park is off Oak Grove Dr.
Information on equestrian classes and facilities is available through the City of Pasadena’s Human Services and Recreation Department.
Equestrian events are available through Rose Bowl Riders in Hahamongna Watershed Park.
Therapeutic equine assisted activities for disabled riders are offered at Hahamongna Watershed Park through MACH 1 (Move A Child Higher).
Located on the western side of Pasadena near CA-134 & I-210 freeways, many roads lead to the Arroyo Seco Natural Park. Three main entrances provide automobile access to the park and numerous trails along the eastern and western edges of the park provide additional access from neighborhoods and surrounding communities.
