Stephanie DeWolfe
Acting Asst.City Manager

Ms. DeWolfe was appointed
Acting Assistant City Manager in April, 2008. Prior to this appointment
she served as the Deputy Director of Planning and Development.
Ms. DeWolfe provides direct oversight to the Arts & Culture Division and
the Housing Division. She serves as liaison between the City Manager’s
Office and the departments of public health, human services, information
services (library), police and fire. She also serves as liaison to the
Pasadena Unified School District and participates in several joint
city-school committees. Ms. DeWolfe provides support to the City
Council’s Youth, Families and Neighborhoods Committee and the Public
Safety Committee.
Ms. DeWolfe has been with the City since 1990, when she began as an
assistant planner in the historic preservation division. In 1994 she
played a leading role in streamlining the development review process and
was recruited by the City Manager’s Office to lead a citywide
organizational effectiveness team. She spent nine years in the City
Manager’s Office before moving back into the Planning and Development
Department as deputy director in 2004.
Ms. DeWolfe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in urban planning from Michigan
State University and a Professional Certificate in public relations from
UCLA. She is currently working toward completion of a Master’s Degree in
real estate development from the University of Southern California. Ms.
DeWolfe lives in Pasadena
