Description
Description
To
advise the City Council on matters relating to the public library
system, in order that the library is well managed in a manner
consistent with the law and policies, and to advise library
administration on the development of library policies.
Members should have an interest in the development and improvement
of cost efficiency and equality of community library
services. Prior or current community service is desirable.
Composition
Nine
members, one appointed by each Council member and the Mayor.
The Mayor will nominate one additional member from persons
recommended by the seven Council members.
