Housing Production
Over the past ten years, the Pasadena Community
Development Commission has provided financial assistance in the development of 923 rental
and ownership housing units. The projects range from the preservation of a historically
significant single-family house to the new construction of a 375-unit apartment complex.
The Commission is committed to identifying and assisting well designed affordable housing
projects which contribute to neighborhood revitalization and community development.
There are two ways in
which qualified developers can participate in the Commissions affordable housing
production activities:
|
1
- Request
For Proposals ("RFP") |
| Under
the RFP process, developers are invited to submit proposals and compete to acquire
Commission-owned project sites for affordable housing development. The project would be
developed by the successful bidder in accordance with the RFP specifications.
If you
would like to be placed on the Commissions mailing list to receive RFP
announcements, please contact James Wong, Project Manager at (626)
744-8300 or email jwong@ci.pasadena.ca.us

| 2 - Notice Of Funding Availability
("NOFA") |
| Under the NOFA process, developers and housing
sponsors are invited to compete for Commission housing funds which could be used for a
specified range of affordable housing activities, including new construction and
rehabilitation.
For more information on the NOFA process and/or if you would like to be
