The Child Care Issues office strives to improve and enhance the availability of quality, affordable child care; promote the ongoing cooperation and collaboration between the City and child care providers, educators and organizations in the greater Pasadena area; to encourage the development of expanded child care resources for employees working in the Pasadena business community; expand opportunities available to working parents which enhance their abilities to effectively balance work and family responsibilities, and to expand financial and other resources available to support quality, affordable child care.
