The Jackie Robinson Center is a multi-purpose social service delivery center that provides assistance to a culturally, economically, and socially diverse population in the Northwest area of Pasadena, at 1020 N. Fair Oaks Avenue.

The 1974 dedication of this 17,800 square feet facility is of significant importance because the center is named after one of this country's great African-American leaders, Jackie Robinson. Given the name of this community center, staff strives to address every problem, concern and/or situation with knowledge, compassion, dignity, and respect. Our overall method to addressing the needs of the community is the collaborative and holistic approach. We work with community based organizations and agencies that are housed at the center as well as independent resources to enhance the quality of the life for our clientele.

The following are examples of services provided at the center:
Health Services such as Podiatry, Blood Pressure/Blood Sugar Screening, Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy program, Annual Flu shot/Health Fair, Educational Programs (primarily G.E.D. and Tutoring), Recreational/Cultural Activities, Information and Referral, Legal Counseling (Pro-Bono Attorney), Substance Abuse, Case Management, Nutritional Programs, Emergency Assistance to Low Income Families, Senior Advocacy, Recreational Activities for Senior Citizens, Social Security/SSI Information, and Income Tax Assistance
