What services are available?

The JTPA offers a variety of employment and training services to eligible individuals. Services are designed and administered by the Career Services Division and  include the following:

workshops for resume and interviewing skills
evaluations to help you find out what kind of training is right for you
help with tuition and books
career development
on the job training
labor market information
skills you need to find and keep a job
GED preparation
vocational and classroom training

Where can I get services?

JTPA services are provided by local agencies called Service Delivery Areas (SDA). California has 52 SDAs throughout the state. Each SDA is administered through a partnership between the local elected officials and a Private Industry Council (PIC). To find the office nearest you, look at our SDA Listing.
