Misunderstood Minds Swearer Center has teacher, tutor, and volunteer worker resources and general resource links. Literacy Online This is a gateway to electronic resources and tools for the international youth and adult literacy communities. It has many good links for more information regarding literacy issues as well as National Center on Adult Literacy/International Literacy Institute publications on national and international literacy issues. Southern California Library Literacy Network, a group for member libraries to help address the needs of adult literacy programs. Pennsylvania State University’s Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy has information for tutors who want to take their understanding of the issues surrounding adult literacy a step further. This website features in-depth articles from the Pennsylvania Literacy Corps, Pennsylvania Family Literacy, and the Workforce Education Resource Center. |
