Equipment to assist people with disabilities
Braille Services
In keeping with the mission of providing information services to all citizens in the community and in partnership with the Braille Institute Library, the Pasadena Public Library provides, for registered patrons of the Braille Institute, a small collection of cassette tapes from the Braille Institute and a replacement for damaged recorders.
Reference Assistance
Librarians available in person, via Internet, telephone to assist with information needs

PASADENA READS Adult Literacy Program
Information on Pasadena Public Library's Adult Literacy Program, which provides basic literacy training to English-speaking adults in the Pasadena area.
Some of these services are funded by a grant from the California State Library and supported by the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center.
