GRADING/HILLSIDE GRADING

Submittal Requirements:	Engineered drawings required.
Special Considerations:	Hillside grading requires a deposit for plan review and inspection as well as compliance with the PMC 14.05. Mitigation Monitoring may be required.

Type of review:	Over-the-Counter

Special Considerations:	If property is located in a Landmark District, changes visible from public right-of-way require Historic Preservation over-the-counter review. Design Review may be required.

Special Considerations:	If over 50 years old, or if property is located in a Landmark District, subject to review by the Historic Preservation Commission. Design Review or a Conditional Use Permit may be required.

Submittal Requirements:	Specify UL or ICBO report number for the roofing material.
Special Considerations:	Class A roofs only allowed in Pasadena unless it has a historic building exemption. Changes in roofing material on historic buildings may require review by the Historic Preservation Commission. Design Review may be required.
