SPORTS GROUPS GET EVEN CHANCE TO USE CITY FIELDS

It’s never too early to be filling in your sports activity calendar for the second half
of 2006.

Sports groups playing baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse or other team sports who want to use city of Pasadena fields from July through December 2006 must submit application forms by Friday, April 21.

The application process gives local sports groups an even chance to reserve field space. Priority is given to groups whose players are Pasadena youths. Adult groups are limited to those whose members live or work in Pasadena.

Applications will be accepted until noon on April 21 and can be dropped off at the Parks Reservation Desk in the Permit Center, 175 N. Garfield Ave.
