HIV & STD Education, Prevention & Testing Programs

The HIV & STD Prevention Programs provide a wide range of education and prevention services related to sexually transmitted infections. The programs aim to increase awareness of STDs and to empower Pasadena residents

to protect themselves through risk-reduction behavior.

Some of the services offered by the HIV & STD Prevention Programs include: 

• HIV/STD Clinic

• Mobile HIV Counseling and Testing

• HIV & STD Information Sessions

• STD Community Intervention Program (SCIP)

The HIV & STD Prevention Programs staff works closely with the Andrew Escajeda Clinic, which provides free HIV/AIDS medical outpatient services to uninsured and

Medi-Cal insured HIV positive individuals residing in Los Angeles County.
