You must get a note from your physician stating it is alright for you to receive the vaccines you want or need prior to coming in for vaccinations.
If I take cortisone, prednisone, other steroids or anticancer drugs, or have had radiology treatment can I get vaccinated?
You must get a note from your physician stating it is alright for you to receive the vaccines you want or need prior to coming in for vaccinations.
If I tested positive on a past TB screening can I get another TB screening for my job?
No, if you are a previous positive, you must get a chest x-ray to prove you are negative for TB.
How soon do I need to get my travel vaccines?
At least 2-4 weeks prior to your travels depending on what vaccines you are getting.
How long is a Tetanus immunization good for?
10 years, but if travel often you should have it every 5 years.
What are the side effects of these vaccinations?
You may experience some redness at the injection site, a feeling like you’re coming down with the flu, and the Tetanus vaccine will cause soreness to the arm that received the injection.
How long will these side effects last?
These side effects should last approximately 2-7 days.
