Our Commitment For over 35 years, the City of Pasadena Recovery Center, part of the Pasadena Public Health Department, has been committed to providing addiction recovery programs and services to individuals and families in a professional, safe and non-judgmental setting. The Recovery Center offers non-residential substance abuse recovery programs and services.

Programs and Services The City of Pasadena Recovery Center's trained counselors offer peer acceptance and caring support in your efforts to seek continuous, long term quality sobriety from alcohol and other drugs. We emphasize coping skills, improving self-esteem and responsible decision-making toward healthy living. Services include, but are not limited to:
u Individual counseling u Recovery discussion groups u Family and significant other groups u Special intervention topics such as anger management, parenting, domestic violence u DUI/Driving Under the Influence Program
Specialized support groups can be created as needs are identified. We can also arrange for other appropriate supportive service referrals.
In addition, we are a designated CalWORKs and General Relief (GR) service provider. We are certified and licensed by the State Office of Alcohol and Drug programs.
All services are strictly confidential.
Prevention We provide outreach and education services in primary prevention to:

First Offender Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program Our Driving Under the Influence (DUI) program is State Licensed and meets court requirements for first-time offenders. We offer education, group discussions and individual counseling, along with lectures and relevant videos. Our affordable classes are available in English and Spanish. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Admission Criteria u Individuals over the age of 18. (Those under age 18 years old need parental consent.)
u A desire for intervention and support to achieve continuing sobriety.
u No one can be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs when attending any program activity.
u The entire family is welcome.
u Individuals who appear to require psychiatric intervention may be referred to a more appropriate setting.
Fees Regular program fees are on a sliding scale, based on ability to pay. No one is refused services because of an inability to pay. We accept cash, check, and major forms of credit cards.
