Project TRUST (Tobacco Reduction Using Effective Strategies and Teamwork) is putting prevention to work in the Pasadena community. Smoking is a leading cause of cancer and in Pasadena area approximately 10% of Pasadena adult residents smoked in 2010.
To help prevent the adverse effects of smoking and second- and third-hand smoke, Project TRUST youth are working on a public health media campaign to promote health across Pasadena this summer and to counter pro-tobacco industry influences.
Please call the Pasadena Public Health Department's Project TRUST office at 626-744-6149 and check the Public Health Calendar below for meetings and events. Please join us!
