Welcome to the Pasadena Department of Public Works Website

Our department handles vital services to our residents and businesses including trash removal, sewage, park maintenance, street maintenance (including street sweeping), and maintenance of City vehicles and facilities.

Our department is the caretaker of the community's infrastructure.  Its goal is to preserve and enhance Pasadena's resources for future generations.

Divisions

The five major divisions of the Department of Public Works are listed below:

Where are we located?

City Hall - 100 N. Garfield Ave.  Pasadena, CA 91101
City Hall is the home of our administrative offices.

City Yards - 233 W. Mountain Ave.  Pasadena, CA 91103
The City Yards is home to our Building & Fleet Maintenance Division, Street Maintenance Division, and our Parks & Natural Resources Division.  You can change your refuse service, receive information regarding tree trimming guidelines, report traffic light or street sign malfunctions, or inquire about other trash, street, and park related issues.

NOTE:  Park use permits services have been moved to the City Permit Center at the Hale Building (175 N. Garfield Ave), which can be found in the Civic Center next door to the Police Department.  You can no longer receive those services at the City Yards.
