    Program Overview

The Energy Efficiency Partnering Program (EEP) rewards Pasadena businesses for a broad range of energy-saving retrofit projects. New construction projects are eligible if project savings exceed CALGreen/Title 24 building code standards. Rebates are based on estimated annual energy and peak demand savings. Depending upon project type, savings are determined by comparing the energy and peak demand of the new equipment versus either current CALGreen/Title 24 building code standards (when applicable), or versus energy consumption and peak demand of the old equipment. Projects started prior to application approval and pre-inspection are NOT ELIGIBLE. Applicants must have an approved EEP application and pass a pre-inspection BEFORE work begins. Funding is available on a limited first come first served basis and is subject to change at the PWP's discretion.
