  • Pasadena Water and Power Town Hall Meeting

    Thursday, May 22, 2014
    6:30 -8:00 PM
All Saints Church - 132 N Euclid Ave, Pasadena

The Pasadena Water and Power Department, along with host Mayor Bill Bogaard, held a community-wide “Town Hall” event on Thursday, May 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Forum at All Saints Church. Local residents joined as the community-owned utility explained how electric rates are determined, discussed the proposed electric rate increases for 2014, described programs and services to help customers save money and energy and discussed other Water and Power topics of interest.

PWP had a "Bill Estimator" on hand that helped estimate what the impacts of the rate changes will be for PWP customers. Light refreshments were served and the first 50 PWP customers who arrived received a free energy-saving LED light bulb.
