PASADENA, Calif.—The City of Pasadena invites the public to participate in the first in a series of virtual community workshops for the 2021-2029 Housing Element Update. The City’s Housing Element implements the declaration of state law that “the availability of housing is a matter of vital statewide importance and the attainment of decent housing and a suitable living environment for all Californians is a priority of the highest order.”
For this first series, the City is hosting two virtual workshops via Zoom:
- In English: April 15 (6 - 8 p.m.)
- En Español: April 22 (6 - 8 p.m.)
These workshops will provide important information about the contents of the Housing Element, review new state requirements, and gather feedback from the community about housing challenges and ways to address a variety of housing needs.
