COVID-19 Employee Rights & Resources Webinar
The Foothill Workforce Development Board (FWDB) will host a webinar on Monday, April 6, at 1 p.m. to help Pasadena workers impacted by COVID-19. Understanding Relief Funds For Businesses Impacted By COVID-19
The Pasadena Small Business Development Center will host a webinar on Tuesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. to help Pasadena businesses and employers impacted by COVID-19. This webinar will provide a helpful overview to Pasadena business owners on relief funding available under the CARES Act. The website contains information about relief options as well as resources for employers and employees. Beginning today, California small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis can apply for a Paycheck Protection Program loan from the federal government for up to $10 million. The program is first-come, first-serve and eligible Pasadena businesses are encouraged to contact their lender to learn more. In addition to the above resources, the Pasadena City Council approved a moratorium on evictions for nonpayment of rent by tenants experiencing financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The City has developed a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to assist the community in understanding the tenant protection moratorium.
