PASADENA, Calif.—The City of Pasadena and Visit Pasadena have launched a campaign to encourage people to shop local this holiday season. The 'Shop Pasadena' campaign puts a spotlight on the hundreds of independently-owned Pasadena businesses, and encourages the community to shop small and dine local.
Every time someone visits their corner shop, grabs a bite at a local eatery or buys a shirt from the neighborhood boutique, they are helping support Pasadena’s independent business owners. Not to mention, shopping local keeps dollars in our city to support our schools, parks and other vital community services.
As part of the 'Shop Pasadena' campaign, independent businesses in each of the city’s commercial areas will serve as welcome stations for the campaign and distribute 'Shop Pasadena' canvas tote bags (while supplies last) beginning Saturday, Nov. 30, in honor of Small Business Saturday.
