PASADENA, Calif.—Enjoy an evening in beautiful Pasadena exploring 20 prestigious arts and cultural institutions showcasing diverse works of art, music and dance by the best the city’s creative community has to offer Friday, October 11, 6–10 p.m. This free event will delight those of all ages and interests. Experience memorable visual and performing arts and participate in hands-on, interactive activities—all for FREE!
The theme at City Hall for this fall’s ArtNight is Rocky Horror Picture Show. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and sing alongside Theatre Americana performers on the steps of City Hall. Those stopping by City Hall will also enjoy face painting, live music, and a photo booth.
Other ArtNight offerings include an 80s dance party complete with Keith Haring-inspired interactive artwork at Day One celebrating the 30th anniversary of Coming Out Day; Broadway music, music trivia, and Drag Queen Story Time and Bingo at Pasadena Public Library; open mic and an opportunity for kids to design their own book at Red Hen Press; hands-on, family-friendly drawing and painting activities at artWORKS Teen Center; and Rogue Artists Ensemble shadow puppet stories based on the Edward Gorey tales The Gashlycrumb Tinies and The Beastly Baby, both accompanied by live music, at One Colorado.

The City of Pasadena is providing free shuttle transportation to and from participating venues, with City Hall serving as the primary transit hub. Access shuttles are available at City Hall and all other participating venues. Food trucks, including the Pie ’n Burger, will be parked at several venues, offering tasty food items and beverages for purchase.
