Pasadena Police Officers Join Fight Against Cancer With "No-Shave November"

PASADENA, Calif.—Pasadena Police Department is proud to participate in “No-Shave November,” a fundraising opportunity to bring greater awareness and support for cancer research. No-Shave November is about setting aside razors for 30 days and letting hair—which many cancer patients lose—grow wild and free. The money typically spent on shaving and grooming will be donated to cancer charities and facilities like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Fight Colorectal Cancer and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Pasadena Police Chief John Perez wants to give Police Department employees the opportunity to participate in this fundraiser stating, “By supporting this cause, members of the Pasadena Police Department are joining in the fight against cancer. Together, we are a formidable opponent against this illness.”

Employees participating in No-Shave November have each made a minimum contribution of $50 at https://no-shave.org/donate. Anyone can visit the same website to donate on behalf of survivors or loved ones by mentioning their name in the comments section of the donation form. To donate on behalf of Pasadena Police Department, simply go to https://no-shave.org/donate, click on Member, and search for 'Pasadena Police.' We thank you for any support you can offer!
