ROSE BOWL STADIUM HOSTS RALLY DAY 10:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M. JANAURY 7, 2014 

Rose Bowl Stadium oval logoThe iconic and legendary Rose Bowl Stadium is proud to host a public "Rally Day" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014, just a day after hosting college football’s BCS National Championship Game and six days after hosting the 100th Rose Bowl Game.

Fans from participating schools, the general public, local residents and fun-seekers from all over can join the festivities on the field of the Rose Bowl  Included in the price of admission--$25 for VIP Tour and Rally Day; $15 for seniors and children (Self-Guided Tours are discounted) are:

  • VIP guided tours of the historic landmark
  • Field activities
  • A piece of the BCS Championship playing field
  • The ultimate behind-the-scenes college football experience

Rose Bowl General Manager Darryl Dunn and other stadium executive staff will be on hand for interviews.

Public tours began June 22 and marked the first time the Stadium has provided this kind of access to the general public. This Rally Day affords the public the first and last time to have access to play and enjoy the BCS field.

Modeled after the Yale Bowl and designed by architect Myron Hunt, whose other buildings included the Huntington Art Gallery and the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, the stadium held its first Rose Bowl Game in 1923.  In addition to hosting the “Granddaddy of Them All” – the annual Rose Bowl Game – and UCLA home football games, the Stadium has hosted three BCS national championship games, five Super Bowls, two World Cups (the 1994 men’s finals and the 1999 women’s finals) and events in two Olympics.
