Vaccine Verification To Be Required at Outdoor Mega Events and Indoors at Bars and Nightclubs

First Delta Variant COVID-19 Cases in Pasadena Residents Confirmed, Public Urged to Get Vaccinated

PASADENA, Calif.—Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) has received the first confirmed reports of the COVID-19 Delta variant infection in six Pasadena residents. The Delta variant was identified in laboratory specimens from these residents through genomic sequence testing. The households infected in Pasadena included a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Through contact tracing, PPHD has linked all of the cases to household exposures. Pasadena Public Health Department Reports First COVID-19 Death in 98 days

PASADENA, Calif.—Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) has reported the first COVID-19 death of a resident since April 1, 2021.
