DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint Planned for March 1

PASADENA, Calif.—Pasadena Police  Department will be conducting a DUI/driver's license checkpoint on Friday, March 1, at an undisclosed location within city limits between the hours of 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. DUI checkpoints like this one are placed in locations based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests. Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment and will also check drivers for proper licensing. PASADENA, Calif.—The City of Pasadena will be offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction in any existing unsolved Pasadena murder case. Over the past ten years, there have been 53 homicides in Pasadena and seven remain unsolved. DUI Checkpoint Results in 10 Arrests

PASADENA, Calif.—On Friday, January 25, the Pasadena Police Department conducted a DUI/driver's license checkpoint on Pasadena Avenue, south of California Boulevard. The checkpoint was conducted between the hours of 6 p.m. and 3 a.m. In total, 10 arrests were made over the duration of the checkpoint. Police-Involved Shooting Ends With No Injuries, Suspect In Custody

PASADENA, Calif.—On Friday, January 11, at approximately 4:36 p.m., in the 1800 block of North Raymond Avenue, Pasadena Police officers attempted to contact Brandon Green on an outstanding drug warrant. As officers approached on foot, Green took off running with officers in pursuit.
