PASADENA, Calif.—The Bobcat Fire is currently 113,986 acres and is 50% contained. Yesterday crews successfully held all of the previous day’s strategic firing operations. Fire activity moderated overnight, except in the Mount Waterman vicinity. One of the priorities today will be the northeastern corner of the fire from Highway 2 to Big Rock Creek Road, where crews will be working to construct direct handline.
