Bobcat Fire Update September 21, 2020

PASADENA, Calif.—The Bobcat Fire is currently 105,345 acres and is 15% contained. Yesterday afternoon, the fire west of Mount Wilson made a northerly push towards Highway 2 and firefighters were able to keep this in check. Bobcat Fire Update 9/14

The Bobcat Fire continued to slowly progress in all directions overnight, as anticipated. An evacuation order was issued for portions of Arcadia and Sierra Madre yesterday, but firefighters have been able to maintain lines and keep the fire out of the communities. The Bobcat Fire continues to actively grow to the north and south. On the south end, the fire reached Santa Anita Canyon near Chantry Flat and remained active overnight. Crews worked actively all last night on the southern end of the fire where it is burning downhill into the foothill communities. Orange Grove Resurfacing Press Release Orange Grove Resurfacing Project All American Asphalt is currently constructing the City of Pasadena’s asphalt pavement resurfacing of Orange Grove Boulevard, from Lincoln Avenue to Sierra Madre Villa Avenue.
