PASADENA, Calif.—City of Pasadena Public Health Officer Dr. Ying-Ying Goh has issued a revised order for control of COVID-19 requiring face coverings for essential workers, along with customers patronizing essential businesses. Parks, open spaces and trails closed Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12

Pasadena’s parks, open spaces, and trails will be closed on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12. The County of Los Angeles and neighboring cities will also close parks, open spaces and trails.  This closure is a precautionary measure to protect our community members from novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We thank you for your patience and understanding. The public is reminded that congregating with members outside of one’s household is not allowed at this time.  The safest way to celebrate holidays is at home.

How are COVID-19 testing sites determined? Initially, sites have been determined by geographic location. The goal is to develop a network of testing sites across the region. The City of Los Angeles selected sites within the city’s boundaries. When the County-City partnership began last week, the goal was to ensure accessibility for all Los Angeles County residents.
