Los Angeles County is modernizing the voting experience for the March 3, 2020 Election by adopting a new voting model replacing traditional polling locations with Vote Centers

2020 Voting Centers

Vote Centers look and feel like polling places, but provide additional modern features to make voting easy and convenient, while still providing the security of a paper ballot for auditing purposes. The Ballot Marking Device utilizes a touchscreen platform that is not connected to a network or internet, has easy-to-follow instructions, and accommodates voters with language needs, and mobility and visual challenges. This new way of voting provides flexibility to vote at any Vote Center location, not just in Pasadena, but in the entire Los Angeles County.
