California Legislators Announce Essay and Visual Arts Scholarships to Raise Awareness of the Armenian Genocide

California 9th-12th graders are invited to participate in our essay contest (800-1000 words) and/or our visual arts contest to increase greater awareness of the Armenian Genocide on its anniversary. All selected winners will be awarded scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000. Original artwork will be requested from visual arts applicants if they are selected as a finalist for possible display in the California State Capitol.
