#VoteCauseWeCan Campaign Kicks Off Tomorrow 8/26

Dear Partners,

Tomorrow is the big day...Women's Equality Day and the launch of the City of Pasadena's #VoteCauseWeCan virtual campaign!

We'll be kicking off the campaign at 8:26 a.m. by posting #VoteCauseWeCan content to all the City's social media accounts. We plan to tag as many partners in our posts as possible so please check your notifications and share our posts as soon as you can. All you need to do is hit the "share" or "retweet" button.

Here are the City's primary social media account handles:

If you'd like to create your own content, our campaign webpage will also go live tomorrow morning so be sure to check out the City's website to access the #VoteCauseWeCan social media toolkit, http://www.cityofpasadena.net

On the campaign webpage, you'll be able to find the following:

  • Graphics and sample messages to share on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Branded profile frame to add to Twitter and Facebook profile photos
  • Branded Zoom Background
  • Ways for your members and social media followers to participate too

We need your help to get the #VoteCauseWeCan hashtag trending on social media, so make sure to include #VoteCauseWeCan in any and all posts.

The campaign website will also feature an events section as well as a list of our partners. If your organization is planning any events between now and Election Day, that coincide with the #VoteCauseWeCan theme, please let us know and we can add them to our events section.

Lastly, as part of the celebration, City Hall will be uplit in purpole and gold, the colors of the suffragette movement, between 8pm-midnight. If you're in the area swing by to take a look (and maybe a selfie), otherwise check it out on our social media accounts.

Best,
