The City of Pasadena is happy to announce a social media campaign celebrating the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote. In honor of the today's kick-off of the campaign, Pasadena City Hall and the Rose Bowl will be lit up in purple and gold, the official colors of women's suffrage. The Pasadena Civic Auditorium will also be decorated for the event with banners. Drive by between dusk or later to take in the sights.
From August 26, Women's Equality Day, through Election Day on November 3, our campaign will encourage women to exercise their right to vote, with an emphasis on first-time voters. Share why you'll be voting this year using the hashtag #VoteCauseWeCan. Visit http://www.cityofpasadena.net/vote-cause-we-can/ to view the campaign webpage and learn more ways to participate.
