About

District 4 covers the east side of Pasadena.  Well known for its beautiful parks, a couple of parks are especially outstanding: Victory Park, the largest park in District 4 offers numerous recreational programs for all ages and sporting events for youth and adults.  Victory Park is the home of a farmers’ market held every Saturday morning and hosts the New Year’s post parade viewing of the Tournament of Roses floats.  Vina Viejo Park is another popular place recently voted as the #1 dog park in L.A. County by KTLA.

Hastings Ranch and Lamanda Park libraries offer not only access to wonderful books and movies but offer free classes on Zumba and yoga along with workshops from everything like home repair to understanding your teenager!  District 4 also backs up to the Los Angeles County Eaton Canyon Golf Course and the Eaton Canyon nature reserve where one can enjoy outdoor hikes and picnics.

The Lamanda Park business District and Hastings Ranch Shopping centers are vibrant areas that offer a wide selection of restaurants, businesses and shopping along Colorado, Foothill and Rosemead Blvds.  East Pasadena is home to many religious and cultural centers, outstanding private and public schools, fitness centers, major medical, urgent care and two fire stations.

Recently the award winning theater, A Noise Within, made District 4 it’s permanent home and is conveniently located walking distance from the Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line Station that offers easy access to other parts of Pasadena and beyond.

Many active neighborhood associations are available for residents to connect more closely with their neighbors and receive support for their concerns.

District 4 is bounded by Washington, Palo Verde, Villa, Roosevelt and Michillinda.
