Pasadena Astronomy Week

A coalition of the world’s leading space science and astronomical institutions based in Pasadena, including District 5’s own Carnegie Observatories, are partnering to produce Astronomy Week 2016.  The week-long series of public events, open houses, lectures and other activities celebrates Pasadena’s rich history as an innovative “City of Astronomy” and an international leader for telescopic celestial discovery and robotic space science. Forum: Living with Urban Wildlife – Tuesday, October 18 6:30pm

Please join us for a community meeting, hosted with Assemblymember Chris Holden, with State Fish & Wildlife experts for information on how we can work together to live safely with the wildlife in our neighborhoods. 18th Annual Latino Heritage Parade & Jamaica – October 15, 2016

Join the free family fun at the 18th annual Latino Heritage Parade and Jamaica (celebration) on Saturday, October 15, 2016.  The event is sponsored by the City’s Human Services and Recreation Department and the Latino Heritage Committee.
