Join the Department of Public Works, Council District 2 and Pasadena Beautiful Foundation in celebrating Arbor Day on Saturday, April 29 at Jefferson Park.  The event starts at 8AM; please meet near the restrooms off Monte Vista Street. Staff from the Department of Public Works will provide a tree planting demonstration, and then take teams of volunteers to plant trees in the surrounding area. Tree care information, giveaways and light refreshments will be provided. Free mulch will also be available for pickup. Event attendees should dress appropriately which includes closed-toe shoes; jeans; and sun protection.
