The Pasadena Public Works Department has established a community compost hub at McDonald Park that is open to all residents.  In order to participate, individuals must attend a workshop and agree to volunteer at the hub.  There is no fee to join.  The workshop will cover the basics of how the community compost hub operates, what materials can be composted, and will provide access codes for use of the hub.  Attendees will learn about the benefits of composting and how to properly use the hub to turn organic waste into valuable compost for gardens and landscaping.
