Public Power Week Electric Circuit Activity
Pasadena Water and Power will be hosting a hands-on, interactive circuit table at the Jefferson Library Branch, October 3, 4 – 5 p.m. in celebration of Public Power Week. Children and their families are welcome to come by and learn about the basic science behind electrical circuits, and how electricity works. Activities will include building simple electrical circuits using batteries, wire, and bulbs, and building with power tiles.
Public power utilities across the U.S. celebrate Public Power Week the first full week of October every year to help customers and stakeholders understand how they can better engage with their community-owned utility and benefit from all its offerings. Power up with us! Recommended for ages 5-12
