3-Day Pasadena CERT Course - Day 1
Pasadena CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) course, a free 21-hour training course that empowers the City of Pasadena community by providing training, planning, resources, and community outreach in anticipation of incidents or disasters. The course will cover disaster preparedness, CERT organization, light search & rescue, fire safety, basic first aid, and more. An attendee MUST attend all three sessions and pass the final exam to receive a certificate of completion.
Please note: While CERTs are a valuable asset in major emergency response, CERTs are not trained to perform all of the functions or respond to the same degree as professional responders. CERTs are a bridge to first responders until fire responders can arrive.
