Our open data demographic dashboard is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the City’s employees. In an effort to be more open and transparent the data is made available to the public. This interactive tool displays information on gender, pay type, and position title, among other key data points.
Race/ethnicity is self-identified by the employee at the time of hire. The City’s employee demographic dataset is point-in-time for employees as of January 1st of each year.
The data presented here is interactive and can be viewed by clicking on or moving your cursor over different areas within the charts. Once a data point or data points are selected, a data filter will appear above the charts. Click "Refresh" to have the data recalculated to apply the filter. Select "Clear" to start over.
• This dashboard provides demographics of the municipal government staff comparing to the available labor pool in Pasadena.
• This dashboard does not include data from the operating companies (i.e., Rose Bowl, Pasadena Center Operating Company, Pasadena Media).
