Pasadena, CA – Pasadena Public Library is excited to partner with Huntington Health, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai, to provide free monthly health screenings. This month, visit the La Pintoresca Branch Library, 1355 N. Raymond Ave. on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or the Hastings Branch Library, 3325 E. Pasadena Public Library Announces Temporary Closure of Allendale Branch Library

Pasadena, CA – Pasadena Public Library will temporarily close the Allendale Branch Library for seismic and roofing repairs beginning on Monday, August 8. Construction is scheduled to be completed Friday, October 7. The branch will reopen the week of October 10. These improvements will allow the Allendale Branch to better serve the community. WHAT: Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) is hosting a vaccine clinic and HIV testing event at the Boulevard Bar, Pasadena’s only gay bar, as part of Pride Month celebrations. (Pasadena, CA.)-Last week, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released guidance indicating that people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can resume some activities without wearing masks or physically distancing except where required by local law and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
