Black History Parade & Festival (Non-Seniors Only)
The Black History Parade is one of Southern California’s largest and longest-running Black history parades. The festival following the parade will take place at Robinson Park and features live bands, dance performances, community booths, guest speakers, food for purchase, and tons of fun!
Participation from all Youth ambassadors is required for this event. (Y.A. Seniors are required to work/assist with concession stand needs)
Duties include: Setup, food and beverage distribution, assisting staff with relaying information, and breakdown
Lunch will be provided
Standard Youth Ambassador Uniform and Y.A. Jacket, no ID required.
Meet-up location: You will be meeting with La Toya Andrews in front of Jackie Robinson Community Center.
