The Youth Ambassadors Program has partnered with Remainders Creative Reuse to offer free art based teen skill building workshops every Tuesday through 11/15/22
In these classes teens will experiment with art materials, build new skills and make new connections with the help of our amazing teacher and artist, Luke Davis. Take one class or all! Every Tuesday there will be a new interactive art based skill building activity. Please see the schedule below and register individually for each class you are interested in.
9/27 Air Dry Clay: Creating unique pets and weird sculptures using Air Dry Clay.
10/04 Bead & Macrame Keychains: Learn to make cool keychains and bracelets with beads
10/11 Comics & Zines: Make your own comic book or fan zine with these easy techniques.
10/18 Painting: We’ll paint abstract, landscape or portrait scenes in acrylic paint.
10/25 Soft-sculpture Critters: Make your own unique stuffed friend with simple sewing & animal design.
11/01 Printmaking: Print your own art on paper using classic printmaking techniques and ink.
11/08 Dioramas: Make a scene, but in miniature with lots of tiny toys to choose from, magazines, & tissue paper collaged onto a wooden box.
11/15 Small Building: Use a variety of hand tools to create unique wood sculptures using materials from our huge Assemblage selection.
No ID or Uniform required. Check in with Luke Davis, Robin Cox, or Nick Fong inside of Remainders Creative Reuse.
