Pablo Garcia

Pablo was involved with the ambassador program from 2011 to 2015 while attending John Marshall Highschool. He pursued and finished a Bachelor of Science in biology at UC Davis in 2019. Recently, he graduated from Keck Graduate Institute receiving his Master of Science in Applied Life Sciences with an emphasis in a Team Master Project. Currently, he is pursuing new opportunities in the biotech industry and looking to continue to make a change in the stem field.

Pablo's advice to the new generation of  Youth Ambassadors:

Never be afraid to ask for help in school, your career, and life. You may never get the answers you seek if the question remains unspoken. Try to network with everyone; you may be surprised at the connections you'll make along your career path. Nowadays, everyone is so fixated on what others may think of them if they are to try something new. Don't be afraid to pursue a passion or a hobby that may turn into a career. The people who have had the most impact in the world never asked for permission to make a change. Make sure to take on every opportunity, whatever it may be, and always be eager to help others in life.

One of Pablo's favorite quotes:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
