The Cultural Affairs Division is pleased to release the Annual Grants Program Guidelines, Applications and Instructions for FY 2026-27. The Annual Grants Program supports the creative life of Pasadena by expanding public access to the arts in our community. Each year, through an application process, awards are made to eligible applicants to fund diverse programming that benefits the greater Pasadena community.

Technical Assistance Workshops

GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP
Workshops are live, online. Attending a Technical Assistance/Grant Writing Workshop is mandatory for new applicants and strongly recommended for returning applicants. The Technical Assistance portion of the meeting will be presented by City of Pasadena Grants Coordinator; the Grant Writing portion will be conducted by a grant writing professional who will provide general grant writing guidance and specific Annual Grants Program tips.

CULTURAL EQUITY AND INCLUSION WORKSHOP
MAY 27, 2026, 1:00-3:00 pm
Join TNP’s affiliate consultant for a 2-hour interactive virtual workshop designed for arts organizations ready to deepen their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work. This session offers a collaborative space for participants to explore the challenges of implementing DEI initiatives and develop actionable strategies for meaningful organizational impact.

Through facilitated discussions, small-group exercises, and peer learning, participants will:
- Reflect on current DEI efforts and identify areas for growth
- Discuss common obstacles and strategies for overcoming them Learn evidence-based best practices to strengthen inclusion and equity
