The Cultural Affairs Division is pleased to release the Annual Grants Program Guidelines, Applications and Instructions for FY 2024-25. The Annual Grants Program supports the creative life of Pasadena by expanding public access to the arts in our community. Each year, through an application process, awards are made to eligible applicants to fund diverse programming that benefits the greater Pasadena community.

Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance/Grant Writing Workshops

Technical Assistance/Grant Writing Workshops with City staff and grant writing specialist will be held live, online. Attending a Technical Assistance/Grant Writing Workshop is mandatory for new applicants and strongly recommended for returning applicants. Attendance greatly improves the odds of being funded.

Three Technical Assistance/Grant Writing Workshops will be offered online in February, March, and April.  Access the links below to register for a session. Please contact if you have any difficulty.

A Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Workshop
April 12, 2024

This 2-hour workshop will be an opportunity for arts organizations to discuss next level DEI planning and implementation work with particular guidance from facilitators on identifying and overcoming perceived obstacles through best practice examples, Facilitators will give support in establishing meaningful goals and identifying ways to measure these goals.
