Pasadena received a Certified Local Government grant in 2007 to study residential buildings built between 1935 and 1965 and to nominate two historic districts and five individual properties from this period for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. On February 26, 2010, the city was notified that the districts and properties that were nominated as part of this project were officially listed in the National Register.
