The public is invited to join the City’s Cultural Affairs Division for a Public Art Dedication Event at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 21 at the Pasadena Convention Center, in recognition of six newly installed public artworks sited throughout the City as part of the fourth iteration of the Rotating Public Art Program.
This event will be held at the main entrance to the Convention Center, 300 E Green Street, the site of Cynthia Minet’s sculpture Unsustainable Creatures: Elephant. Attendees will have a chance to view the artwork in person and meet the artist, as well as hear remarks by City representatives and project stakeholders. The City will also share information about the Rotating Public Art Program and the new Phase 4 artworks, which will be publicly exhibited for a temporary three-year period. This event will be held outdoors and will include light snacks and refreshments.
