The Pasadena Police Department has concluded its internal review of an officer-involved shooting on August 15, 2020, that resulted in the death of Anthony McClain.   The Department determined that the involved officer’s use of force was in compliance with Department policy. Critical Incident OIS PA2022-63631 – July 30, 2022

On July 30, 2022, The Monrovia Police Department advised Pasadena Police Dispatch, they were pursuing a vehicle that had been carjacked in the City of Pasadena on July 29, 2022. The suspect in the carjacking was armed with a handgun during the commission of the crime and it was believed the suspect was potentially still armed with the handgun.
